2013 Kioti CK35 HST
The H - M - L gear shifter on the left is hard as all get out to change. Sometimes I feel like it is stuck for good but I'll finally get it to move. Or I feel like if I put any more pressure on it I will break something. Anybody have this issue?

Ya, I had that issue with my 2012 CK27hst. I called the dealer on it and his mechanic came up and did something. I am not sure what he did, but it entailed dumping the hydraulic fluid.

I've got a2011 DK35 SE HST with 1436 hours now. It acted that way once and a while. Nothing serious , it worked it self out. If your bound in some strange situation, it's a bit hard to shift but easing into the forward or reverse pedal just a bit solved my issue. . . . .John

Is this an HST tractor? On the shuttles, usually just double clutching will free it up easily. HST's might have issues with finding true neutral. Maybe requiring pedal adjustments. Try doing with a very slight opposite pressure on the HST pedal. You should also lubricate all of the linkages under the tractor that are on the range shifter path. That helped mine when it was new.

My CK30hst, purchased new in 2005, was a little hard when new and then became worse after the first Winter. My 4WD lever also was hard to move. As mentioned, it could be from the gears having some pressure on them. Letting the tractor move a bit helped some but what made mine much better was lubricating the linkages and especially where the shaft goes into the trans case. The shafts will have a tendency to rust/freeze up going into the trans case. I did WD40 first to loosen both of them up and then used spray white lithium grease. If you check prior posts, other members have had the same problem. Lubricating and letting the tractor move a couple inches does the trick.

Yes, my CK was the same, and still acts up some times. Make sure you have the clutch in and try. If not, let the clutch out and and rock the HST pedal. Repeat until it moves. DO NOT yank on it until it goes, that will bend/break something. It will get better with use, mine did, and I'm only approaching 80hrs. You can lube it up if you want to, can't hurt. Obviously be careful moving the pedal if the tractor's in gear.

Good advice...thanks.

Mine got better with time but all you have to do is move the rocker pedal until it allows you to change ranges. The CK rocker style pedal seems less likely to centre itself and causes problems. I have the same issue on my DK, but it's not as bad. A quick tap forwards or backwards and it's freed up.

OK, so I guess the rocker pedal is the one that makes you go forward and backward...never heard it called that. Mine definately gets a little stuck going forward or backward sometimes and instead of just removing my foot from it, I have to physically center it to get it to stop.

When my NX has trouble finding a range gear, I step on either the forward or reverse pedals just a little bit and the range selector eases right into gear. If that fails to work, then inspect the linkage for looseness, binding, proper lubrication, and foreign objects. I've found sticks jamming up stuff in the past before I added the belly plates on my tractor.
