If anyone is interested in the new CK2610, thought I'd share my experience today looking at one. After looking at several other brands the Kioti really has my interest more and more...
Spent several hours today looking at Kioti and my second trip to the local dealer who is doing well selling them. He also sells Mahindra that has been a good seller as well. Next to my car was setting a CK4010 model so while just beginning my inspection, this fellow comes up asking if I was coming to look at Kioti? yes, that is my intention says I. Turns out he is the regional Rep for Kioti and after a few minutes of BS we were like old friends, not from his salesmanship mind you but more just a good old boy who really knew his tractors, Kioti and most everything else! He began showing me this 4010 tractor end to end and how Kioti builds them to last making all the parts to include their own diesel engines unlike so many other tractors that make parts from a host of countries. My interest is the new CK2610 (no DPF) so off we go looking at one that had just been uncrated and being set up for its new owner back in their shop. I found this fortunate as I could easily look things over before total assembly. Being a skeptic by nature I can say I found nothing that looked poorly made or put together plus liking the simplistic looking motor and how easy it looked getting to things. From the factory, this tractor comes with easy off loader assembly and quick removal bucket system, and with the joy stick next to the seat as opposed to being out front on the loader arm. The twin petal HST was a surprise as well rather than a rocker like so many have now. The loader hydraulics were neatly tucked up and behind the loader arms unlike the CK2510 I had seen earlier although, the dealer told me back then they could be re-routed...Standard tires are industrials and something I sort of want as my JD with Ag tires is pretty hard on the grass during springtime rains..Kioti and my dealer has a great price offer IMO of $16,650. for this same CK2610, a lot of tractor for the price. Also the seat was comfy and with good springs underneath. At over 6 feet and about 240 lbs, I felt the platform size was ok for me, not cramped and with easy reach controls...For me, this tractor is about right at this point, simple to run, simple to maintain as new tractors go plus being retired and no longer hurrying to get things done, I have two Sons for that! Now, I have to convince the wife we need this tractor; think I did that 40 years ago as well.

1 you're retired 2 if you can afford it treat yourself 3 your back will love you for it 4 Kiotis are great machines and that one is really nice now to get the wife on board. Best of luck. Donnie

I saw the 2610 at my dealer today, and was impressed at how big it was. My opinion of the Kioti make is very high, metal all over, very well built and very heavy. Proper tractor IMO. Good Luck.

Getting the wife onboard is critical. We have a one acre lot and I hear my CK20 crank up and move around the yard and I know something is getting moved around. Ours was purchased to save our backs and it has 335 hours in five years.

TJP89,
Thanks for the opinion; about my take on it. What impressed me besides the tractor was, the factory reps knowledge, the fact he straight out answered all questions clearly, without hesitation and IMO very honestly, no cover ups. Easy to see he felt Kioti was building a quality tractor in a very competitive class of CUTS.

Ricn,
I've tested the CK2510 and liked it but felt a bit cramped on it, I need to get to the dealer and look at the CK2610. Does the $16,650 include the loader, any other options? Thanks

For $1660.00 you get HST, quick detach loader, same for the bucket. Industrial tires are standard on this model. Extra cost for rear/front hydraulics, cruise control, sun shade etc..Kioti website lists all the extras available..This is an entry level tractor but if loader work and box scraper is all you need, like me, it is a great tractor I'm thinking and, I hear more than likely has more torque and perhaps power as well than the L2501 Kubota while costing much less.

Hi Ricn,

I'm a newbie and have been researching the CK2610HST. Do you mind me asking who the dealer is in Washington that gave you a price of $16,650? That sounds like a good price and I wanted to talk to him. Thanks

The dealer is Washington Tractor in Monroe Wash. Last I checked, their price was $17,300. so maybe the first price did not include shipping or setup. These are nice folks, selling about everything one could need for small lots to large plots of land. Also sell Mahindra and Cub Cadet. They have been in business for many, many years and they farm as well using the largest Kioti tractors.
I ended up buying from Sound Tractor in Everett Wash getting the Kubota L2501 W/FL and heavy duty land Pride box scraper. Total price out the door with our high sales tax and insurance was 21K and a little change. I took advantage of Kubota "zero" interest as well. So far, we like the tractor but being its my first HST the noise is something I must get used to having had only gear tractors before. IMO both tractors are very good units when one crawls around, over and under looking at how they are made, at least on the outside. At 25 hours so far, the L2501 really sips fuel besides being VERY comfortable for my 250-lbs tall frame and a little better to me perhaps than the 2610 although either would be fine. My Son pushed for the Kubota and mostly because of having a U-35 Excavator that has shown to be a very good unit. I was quite skeptical of the rocker pedal at first, but after an hour or so moving dirt I had to admit I liked it...Soon, we hope to get additional implements and rear hydraulic controls. By the way, my neighbor, about 3 miles away, has two Kioti tractors and is very happy with both. Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply Ricn- I'll check out Washington tractor. The L2501 was what I had my mind set on a few months ago when I started researching things. From what I could see looking at them in person and reading about them, both tractors seem to be very comperable in regards to high fit and finish and robust construction.
I've been leaning more toward the Kioti in that it seemed to offer more standard features than the Kubota for a bit less money. At this point things are really just coming down to money. If both tractors end up costing me about the same I'd probably opt for the L2051, if anything, just the name recognition and resale value. If I can get the Kioti for a few thousand less, I'll probably go that route.
Other than what you mentioned in your post, were there any other reasons, benefits you found the Kubota offered you over the Kioti?
Thanks
