Kioti CK25
I'm new here, and to the CK25. I just bought a CK25, and have a minor problem which I'm sure is an adjustment. The throttle lever moves fine, and the engine speed responds as expected. The problem is that when I release the throttle, the return spring moves it back to the idle position.

I'm guessing there's a friction adjustment somewhere that needs to be set to keep the throttle lever in place. Am I correct, and if so, is this adjustment under the dash near the throttle lever?

Thanks,
Kirk

There is a throttle lever friction adjustment under the right side of the dash as you suspected. My CK30hst was very stiff when I bought it and I had to loosen it up. The bad thing is you will need two wrenches and there isn't much room to get to the adjusting nuts. If you look under the right side of the dash, following were the shaft of the throttle lever goes through, you'll see the end of the shaft with two nuts on it. The lower nut is a jam nut to lock the upper nut in place once you get it adjusted for the right friction. It's a PITA to get to but can be done. Mine is 5 years old and I don't think Kioti made any changes.
