Newby to the tractor world here. Found a used 2006 CK25 Hydro-Trans(50 hrs) with loader/boxblade/finishmower/tiller all Kioti implements and a dual axle trailer (all in exellent condition) for 16K. Is this price about right for all? Thanks.

I bought my CK30hst back in April 2005 for 16.5K with loader only. The five extra ponies cost me another 1K over the CK25hst. It looks like you are getting at least 3K in implements and trailer for free. Also, I believe there was a four year warranty then and it should be transferable. Prices are regional but that sounds pretty good. I'd give it a good look and test drive.

Check the loader carefully. Search this forum about KL130 cracks. At least make sure the loader sits level. Maybe eventually Kioti will do something to fix that thing. Otherwise, a good deal on a sound tractor.

I'm not so sure it is a super deal but it certainly seems fair. Consider that each of the implements is worth about $500 or a bit more used and the trailer about 2000. That leaves the tractor with loader costing about 12000-12500. Again, I think that is fair but not a steal for a two year old tractor in excellent condition. You should definitely at least check what the tractor loader would be new as you can get zero percent financing and a brand new modified loader as well as a full four year warranty if you go new.

Agree with comment to check loader (either on the ground or elevated with a support in case the hydraulics don't hold while you are under it). Take off the six machine screws holding on the inspection plate over the torque tube (the piece that connects the left and right half of the loader). Check for hairline cracks starting either at the bolt holes themselves or, more typically for the KL130 loaders... at the origin of the gussets (welded inserts) at the edge of the inspection opening. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to check, just bring a socket set with you to get the machine screws off.

If the loader is cracked you might bargain for a discount as you'd need to hassle with getting it fixed at some point. It doesn't affect your ability to use the loader but it will eventually (when Kioti FINALLY figures this thing out) require a fix that could involve a trip to the dealer (for the tractor).

Thanks for the input. I'll follow up on the advice.

Just realized I kinda underpriced the used tiller so add maybe 250-350 in value to what I posted earlier.

I was at a Kioti dealer today, they had a 2006 CK30 w/KL130 on it with a fix, ala KL120 fix. It was MUCH more stout than the KL120 fix, but basically the same design principle. Apparently it fits most, but not all, of the KL130's.

If you even SEE an inspection plate, contact the nearest KIOTI dealer and price a new set of arms......... save yourself the hassle. (If there is a kit installed, you won't see the inspection plate very easily). Bargain this amount off the purchase price. I'm sure the seller will understand. Once that's taken care of, you'll have a great tractor!! Swapping the arms is fairly simple..... a shame to have to do that, but it is what it is...............
