It seems I have an oil leak in my hydraulic oil cooler. The bottom of it is wet with oil. It seems to be slow. I saw a drop on the barn floor Sunday, and followed it back to that area. Has anyone heard of this or had this? The fittings on the cooler do not appear to be the culprit. It appears to be leaking right from the cooler. Any comments suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm contacting my dealer right after leaving this post. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

A pin hole in the fins? In the tubing? It's possible that it was damaged in the assembly process or at the dealer's when he was uncrating and assembling.
Carefully, carefully, start the tractor up. If HST, put it in a range and let the fluid flow. Take a piece of cardboard, not your hand, and run it around that area and look for any fluid that may be spraying out. This fluid could be under great pressure, so be careful to protect your skin. It could enter your skin and cause life-threating results.
Regardless of the cause, it needs to be checked by the dealer and presented for warranty.
Good luck and let us know!

If the fittings are tight, then KiotiJohn had the answer. Probably was damaged during assembly and now sprung a leak. Be careful when checking. 2000 lbs. plus oil pressure will penetrate you skin. Use the cardboard as suggested. I had a warranty claim on my new CK30, hydralic cylinder rod pitting, and it's in the process of being repaired. Call the dealer. Kioti has been good with the warranty repairs.

I got the Hydraulic leak fixed. It was the hydraulic cooler. It had a pin hole in it. The dealer ordered the part on Monday, had it on friday, and I had the tractor back on the following Wednesday. Pretty fast service, which is real important when something does go down. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Happy to hear you got it back in a short period of time. Now it's time to work, work, work! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well I'm happy to hear you got it taken care of to your satisfaction. Stuff does happen, but at least it didn't take too terribly long to get it resolved.

I had a pin hole in the lower left corner of the cooler on my CK30 this summer. The dealer sent me a new one uner warranty. This morning while plowing snow I discovered a leak in the new cooler in the same place!!!

This time it is leaking a little worse and the fan is helping to spread fluid all over the engine. My contact at the dealer is out of town this week and it took about 2 weeks to get it last time. I have no choice but to keep using the tractor because of snow fall.

Is it leaking at the connection? They have changed the setup on these now and they have a rubber connection inbetween the cooler and the lines.
