Hi, I'm new to your forum. Lotsa good info here!

My wife and I bought a new CK20S last weekend and it's going to be delivered tonight. YAY! FEL and pallet forks, no backhoe. We expect to carry a lot of stuff around with it and clear some ground, maintain the driveway, put hay up in the loft. We have no use for a mower, but we'll probably get a box blade pretty soon. The dealer in Metropolis, Illinois has been super to work with. Between him the folks in here I'm less and less worried about getting too small of a tractor. We only take care of two acres and two horses, so i guess we don't need a 4010, huh? :) I hope to be posting some working photos pretty soon!

Did you get the HST or Gear? You'll want that box blade sooner than later. It's an awesome implement.

Congratulations Arinekhen. Think you'll be more balanced with a heavy duty box blade on the back. Mine is a 54" Land Pride that is a perfect fit for a 48" wide tractor.

Congratulations. I have the 20S, and my friends with 6 acres and two horses are convinced my tractor would be perfect for them.

Enjoy!

Think you'll be more balanced with a heavy duty box blade on the back. Mine is a 54" Land Pride that is a perfect fit for a 48" wide tractor.

The CK20 is only 44" wide with Ag tires and I think 46" with Industrial (R4) tires so the 48" wide box blade would work as well.

I have the 48" heavy duty box blade for my CK20HST with loaded Industrial tires and it covers the tracks plus. When grading uphill, I can lose traction and stop the tractor. Any wider and it will just stall the tractor sooner.
A MUST HAVE attachment, not as necessary as a loader but still great.
