I have been researching the CK20S and found the Euro/ Australian CK22 to be the same tractor except for a few country specific features. It is the same horse power, weight,size, etc. Some Euro models have an add on hand parking brake or different ROPS. Some, the parking and brake lights are wired different. Some countries require tractors to be licensed like a car. Having said all that, the two tractors are mechanically the same. The engines are different model numbers, but are the same cubic inch, hp, torque, etc in the newer years of the CK20S. I think the US model is set up different to comply with the EPA. The older CK20 used a smaller engine. I bought the CK22 Manual off of EBAY, and the engines look the same across the board. The rest of the tractor looks the same.

The literature makes reference to the CK20, "Continuing the distinctive new design introduced on our CK20 models, the sloped hood offer greater frontal visibility, and the flat plastic mudguards keeps the flat operator platform clean", sounds as if thought this model replaced the CK20.

I agree, but the CK22 is being phased out in the Down Under. It is going to a CK3010. It is the same size as the CK22, but with a 30HP motor. It has the newest front end look also. CK3010 | Kioti Daedong Tractors | Brought to you by PFG Australia

Weird. Here as you know, the 20 is quite different than the 27,30.
America seems to always get way different products than the other parts of the world.
It looks like some of the other models are coming to the U.S. They are being released at the AG show in GA.

In the specs section of my '09 CK20 manual it says to use a 35/35watt bulb for the headlights and to use a 35/55watt for the European model :confused3: - be a cheap upgrade for this side of the pond!

Right after I took delivery, one of my headlights went out. I went down to Auto Zone and bought two new super bright white H-4 bulbs. (35/55 watt bulbs) It is much brighter on high beam. The only problem is when the loader is in the right position, it reflects back and blinds the crap out me. It was bad with the stock bulbs, but wow, these new bulbs are bright. If you use the tractor with out the loader, it would be a good investment.

Yep - gotta raise it way up and watch the overhead as it is when traveling - overhead work lights are the answer I reckon :)

Even so, I find the glare from the brush guard makes lights almost useless.
