- Kioti CK20S HST and Gravely walk-behind (2 wheel tractor - 700 lbs.).
So, the dipstick for my engine oil has always seemed like a very loose fit to me. I got more concerned after a recent leak that some stuff might work its way into the dipstick hole, especially with the dipstick moving a bit loosely (i.e. it easily jiggles side-to-side in the hole). When I looked up Kioti parts for this, you see the picture: shows something completely different! I'm wondering if mine is a different revision, OR if the dealer replaced it with this type when he put in the block heater for me just prior to purchase. The latter could make sense, since the type shown in the parts diagram might not fit well there with that block heater accessory (see pics, and some text on pics).
If you have a CK20 or some pertinent knowledge about this, please respond.
Thanks in advance, -Mitch
P.S. I'm considering using some make-a-gasket glue to create a better fit, but I'm concerned that nothing (including bits of that "rubber", after dried) go down that hole. Any suggestions?
