2013 Kioti CK35 HST
I just bought the CK35 HST used with 30 hours. It's still under warranty. I looked online for manuals, anyone know the best place to get manuals, and which manuals I'll need if I plan on mantaining grease, oil, hydralics and filters myself. (did I miss something?)

When I put the brush hog on, do I need to do anything with the PTO other than turn it on?

And also, I forgot to look last night when it was delivered and I'm at work now. Are the side links pretty adjsutable or are they fixed. I'm trying to figure if I need one of those quick hook-up systems back there.

Thanks,
Kurt

I imagine your local dealer can provide an Owners manual which has the info needed for regular maintainance such as filter changes, lube etc.

I suppose you could order the shop manual for extensive work. If under warranty I would say for anything major let the dealer handle it under warranty.

Regarding the mower make sure the PTO shaft is of proper length. Lots of videos and references about PTO shaft length on line.

Make sure PTO shaft grease zerks are well lubricated, belts are proper tension and blades are on securely.

That is about all I can offer except of course (IMO) change filters anytime you change fluids. It is a few dollars well spent.

Lastly, As some Kioti have known issues with ignition keep key switch covered when not in use to minimize water entry.

Enjoy

Thanks, so I don't need to change the pto speed or anything like that. And the mid pto would be for a mower underneath I assume and should never be used otherwise.

Turn the PTO/brush hog on at idle, then speed the mower up .

Good Advise, I always start any PTO attachment at a slow speed, and then throttle up. Better to find a problem at low speed rather then high.

Side links have good adjustability and newer 35's have adjustable leveling on the right side.

Agree bring up the RPM slowly after engaging PTO. My DK 40 has an auto PTO but I never use it out of concern for abrupt shear force on components.

I imagine you know that proper PTO speed (540?) is indicated by a little triangle or mark on the tach? For the life of me I cannot visualizethe RPM but somewhere around 2700 i think. Just bring up to speed until you reach the mark and you are good to go.

Owners manual came with tractor. I got the shop manual on a pdf download for $20, forget the site, but it was easy to find. One side link is adjustable, I think I would find a QA just another object that gets in the way.
