ck 25 doesnt want to come out of reverse

I have a ck 25 a 2007 . I have been having issues getting it out of reverse , if I shift to low range and hold the brakes and load up the trans it will come out . does anyone have ideas ???

you are just experiencing a load up stressing the gear. When my tractor acts up like that I just located a clear safe spot and punch down on the rocker pedal while in reverse. Then I let off the reverse thrust and as the stress on thie gears releases I pop it out of reverse. That drive line thrust holding against that gear is now your friend as you have turned the tables against it.

well finally figured out my tractor , the shifter moves too far in to the reverse position and the synrco keys pop up then the shifter does not want to move back over them . on all the other gear sets there is a gear that stops the shifters from moving to far except going into reverse , so until there is a gear/shaft change this can continue to happen . after taking it apart for the tenth flipping time i decided to remove the synrco keys as the tractor should be stopped before shifting from forward to reverse and it seems to be shifting just fine .
