CK 20 Seat

Hello everyone. This is my first post on the forum. I've been reading and researching this sight for several weeks now and finally purchased a CK 20 with 60in. MMM and FEL.
So far I think I will like it once I get used to it.

My first question is, has anyone tried to put a CK 25 seat on a CK 20. I need a little more padding and support.

I replaced the seat base on my CK20 with the Ultra Low Profile Mechanical Suspension unit found here... TractorSeats.com it was pretty much a bolt on process.

its definitely better than the rigid stock seat, but not as good as a full fledged suspension seat...

I'm glad Mathey was able to give you a suggestion as I've always been a bit surprised when anyone mentions the seat being less than comfortable. I can be on mine all day long and hardly notice it, but then I'm not a big person, short and not too heavy, so I guess it does make a difference for larger men.
I've seen a lot of after market seats for sale on Ebay. Just measure your base and the seat dimensions well and e-mail the sellers if they don't post those dimensions on Ebay. I think you can get a pretty good seat from what I've seen.

I know there's been days when mowing a rough field for 6 or 7 hours that I wish I had a better seat on my CK20, beats my back all up! I too thought about the 25/30 seat but also saw it was much wider.

I purchased a seat from Agri-supply. I think it was made in Italy. The size is simalar but it has arm rests that fold up or down. It is much more comfortable than the original. Cost was about 75 bucks.

A related question: the seat back on my CK20 rubs against the fuel tank. Only 20 hrs and there's already bare metal. Is this normal? the seat seems awfully loose.
