I don't collect carbide, but a couple of my 10 inch blades set me back over 130 bucks. A local guy resharpens them for less than 20 bucks each. I can get them done about 8 times before they are worn out.
Yes the 130 dollar blades do cut that much better than the 30 dollar blades. Cuts the sanding time down as well.
I work with very hard and exotic hardwoods, cutting 2 inch thick rock maple with any thing else will smoke up your shop very quick.
