Chute rotator only rotates one direction

I have a B3030 and am just installing a B2782A front mount snow blower with hydraulic chute rotator. Upon connecting the rotator found it will only turn from right to left. Try to turn opposite and the lines tense up and the engine lugs a bit.
Switched the hoses, now pushing the joystick to the left gets left to right rotation but pushing the joystick to the right gets no right to left, the hoses tense up.
Took the gear off the motor, no change.
Switched rotator hoses (bucket curl) with lift/lower cylinder hoses on QD's, now rotator works both ways when joystick is moved to lift/lower and cylinder will raise and lower when joystick moved left/right but now no float on the cylinder so can't operate this way. Wouldn't really want to as it is counter intuitive.
I'm at a loss, anyone have ideas about why it won't rotate both ways when connected to the bucket roll QD's??
I'll be near the dealer's tomorrow so will stop in to quiz them about it but doubt they will have any answer beyond that I should bring the tractor in and pay them to fiddle with it unless they have seen this before.

The problem is the regen feature in the valvebody. You must push the joystick to the right PAST the detent...... then your chute will rotate to the right.

I pushed it over as far as it will go, several times, it just pressurizes the hoses. Both hoses in fact so I think it is something in the valve body.

I assure you I had the same confusing problem the first time I put my blower on. As dumb as it may be, Kubota made the valve go into regen before it operates the right (or normal dump) circuit. I'm confident you are not pushing past the detent....... give it a good hard shove to the right. It will feel alot like when you push forward to put the loader arms into 'float', but the detent is more firm because it isn't used as much as the float. If you are not feeling the joystick go beyond the detent, you aren't pushing it far enough.

Kenny is the one who straigtened me out when I went through the same issue. Its funky, but you will get used to it.

I never knew there was a regenerative circuit on that. Had to give it a pretty good push the first time all right, I doubt the stick had ever been there before, certainly not by me and the tractor only had about 0.8 hours on it when I got it.
Now I understand why they included restrictors for the lines too, it really turns when it is hard over like that. It might do damage with no restriction.
I feel much better, think I may have to have an adult beverage to relax with.

I'm sort of notorious for reading manuals but I don't recall seeing anything about that. Have to go through it again now to see.
I did do a search but probably worded it poorly as I didn't know what the real problem was.
Another thing I've learned on this forum by stating the problem and not really knowing enough to ask a good question.
Almost, I say almost, looking forward to snow now. Not until after this weekend though, we are having a party for my Mom's 80th birthday, really don't want snow for that.

It takes a little getting used to...... the first few storms you will turn the chute to the right too far every time . Once you get used to it, you will be able to go to the detent...... then just a crack beyond to get it to inch to the right like it does when you turn left.
