what happened to your BX did I miss something on here?

I enjoyed using my BX22 for four years, and learned a great deal about tractors with hydraulics in the process. ( I was raised on a very small dairy farm, and our tractors didn't have loaders, or hydraulics except for a very simple system to raise the plows.) I've bought more woodland since I purchased the BX, and my needs have changed somewhat. With the loader, and backhoe on, the BX was a small tank! With those attachments removed, it was great to zip around the lot with. My experience, and the experience of others here has certainly proven what those machines are capable of, and yet being capable doesn't necessarily mean that they are the best tools for the job. My BX with the heavier frame, and loaded smaller diameter bar tires was a bit heavy for mowing earlier in the year. It would leave depressions when my Simplicity Legacy (1000 lbs with mower) would ride on the surface. It was also a little light for moving downed (and cut up) trees from my woods, and clearance there was sometimes a concern though truthfully I never had problems. ( because I was careful where I went) The loader valve on mine came off with the loader, and was a bit of a pain to reinstall on the tractor..... that was an issue more for summer front blade use than the once a year winter thing. I want to run a chipper, and the one I like is a bit big for the BX with limited lift height. I think it would work ok on the newer ones. Bottom line is that I either had to commit to mower decks, and implements for that tractor, or trade for something else. I haven't ruled out the new BX series as a replacement since most of those issues have been addressed though I may well buy something with more ground clearance, and position control. I think Henro had the right idea with his B2910, and BX. We really need more than one!!!
