Way to go! Let us know if there's anything you can't do with that 6000. I note that the rear (look like R4s) tires are a little shorter than the R1s(based on the distance from the tire to the top of the fender). What size are they?
I think you'll find that your 6000 will pull/push anything you want to play with at no more than 1500rpm. I broke my 6000 engine in on a 7ft brush hog in 3ft pasture grass (about 15 acres of it). Congrats! BobG in VA

The R4's do sit a little lower than the R1's on my 6500. The R4's on mine are 19.5L - 24. Never could find out what the "L" signifies. Anyone know?

The tires are 19.5L X 24, and I don't know what the L stands for, but I like them as they don't distroy the yard. I had the dealer add liquid to the tires and I've only got it stuck three times so far, soft/muddy area, but pushed it back out with the FEL. I Purchased it used, 285 hours, didn't even have the paint rubbed off the bucket, but I have corrected that already.

The Hydrolic Joystick for the FEL is goofed up, after on owning it for 2 1/2 weeks. Dealer sent a guy out, but he had wrong part to fix it, so three days later I'm still waiting for him to return to make the repair. Seems like the return spring for the forward tilt had broke, or at least it feels that way.

Still having a great day.............

That is a sharp looking tractor. It's about impossible to find a good used tractor like that in this area. Good Luck with it.

Well tractor is fixed, guy brought the parts and its now working, No Charge. Seems part of the unit fell off the bottom of the valve, screws backed out and the parts fell off and somewhere never to be seen again. Even though it took several days for the parts to come in, they corrected the problem at no charge.

I also had a great experence with Pat's Quick Change. My new tractor had larger arms, and the older Quick Change units from the traded in tractor wouldn't fit, so I called them and explained the problem, and they shipped out a new set of Quick Change units, which I installed, and sent the old units back, and only cost me $25, now that is what I call service.

I usually don't find a company willing to take care of customers that well.
