Half way....... I decided to freshen up a trail in the woods with the box blade. When I got to the bottom of the hill, the soft spot (that I am aware of) was camouflaged by leaves. When I went to turn around I was down to the front axles. Luckily, my rears were still on solid ground but I had a big pile of dirt and leaves behind me that the box blade collected on the way down. With a little help from the FEL I was able to get free. To top it off, on my way back up the hill, almost to the top, the tractor started spittin' and sputterin'. I was thinking what the h**? let off the hydro pedal and she smoothed out. I thought no way this hill bogged the tractor down like this so I double checked the brake and sure enough the brake was set  Ah well, Almost two years into tractor ownership and the brake still gets ya every once in a while. Thats why we're humans I suppose :)

Some may remember I posted a while back when I got my old B7100 stuck and had to pull it out with the B3200. This spot that snagged the L4400 is only about 12 feet from the spot that sunk the B7100. I am well aware of the wet area but I needed a few extra feet to turn the L around and *usually* this spot isn't to bad.

You could put some orange cones up around the area to remined you its there. At least the FEL saved the day. Looking at the photo, the center of the wheels don't have any mud on them. Yea, I hate it when something like that happens, but its Kinda funny when its your Brother, Last year clearing Hunting Lanes, I was helping put up deer stands, and here comes my brother walking back up to the trucks. He had went just a little to far down the hill towards the creek, and a big wet spot like you found there.
I went down, and put a strap and chain around a tree, strecth out the BH tied off, and pulled it out for him.

Yea, when I realized I was stuck, I jumped off and cleared the pile of junk from behind the BB then started using the FEL to help. I didn't mess around trying to power it out on its own or it would have been bad! Not a crippling stuck but could have been much worse. Got 10 hours on the machine, guess it was time to break her in a little.
