Chinese rims ruining inner tube stems?

I've had problems getting lesser quality wheels to hold air tubeless so used extra tire lube and then overinflated tires for a few weeks. For a 12PSI radial, I put in 25PSI. For a 16PSI bias p[ly, I put in 30PSI and all stayed sealed. It worked.

I haven't had much in the way of tube issues but did have a leaking problem around the valve stem on a new setup a while back. The tire guy said to switch to a radial tube in the bias tire because everything was better built on it. It worked. Just offering as an FYI.
