chinese lawn mowers

i'm in the market for a non-commercial grade riding mower or zero turn mower - what i'd like is a 46 to 54 inch deck with manual transmission if at all possible -

i pefer to NOT purchase a mower manufactured in communist china -

does anyone have any suggestion as to brands or models that would fit the bill ? - and, do any of the common engines (kohler, kawasaki, briggs) also come from china ?
