kubota b9200
I am looking to buy a backhoe for my Kubota b9200. I really like the woodmax 6600, they have a couple of great videos on line that puts to rest a lot of my fears on Chinese backhoe's. I feel like this hoe is almost too heavy but not sure. I recently came across another hoe that is smaller, it's a bh 5600 that i believe would be a better fit.. sold by ecrater/wayfair..my question is does anyone out there have any knowledge they could share on either of these hoe's. Thanks in advance.

sebes, I've had the Woodmaxx 6600 for a couple of years now and have not had any issues with it. I've dug a 4-4 1/2 foot trench for electric to my pole barn, dug out at least 40 stumps and some other minor jobs so far. My B7500 is very similar in size to your B9200, although you have a couple hundred pounds more (basic weight) and slightly larger rear tires so you should have no problem with this backhoe. It's not indicated by your post but I'll assume you have a front loader as you should not have a hoe on a tractor without one. I don't know anything about the BH5600 you mention but the WD6600 is a 3 point backhoe. If you end up with a 3 point backhoe many on this forum will suggest you convert it to a 4 point connection. If you would rather not make that conversion, like me, at a minimum you need to upgrade your top link bracket to a heavy duty one and install a support frame kit. Kubota should have both of these items for your tractor and they are not that expensive.

Zmansmac, thanks for your reply. I decided on the woodmax 6600 and you input was much appreciated. I was suprised when I checked the specs on your tractor verses mine and see that although you have less engine hp you end up with 1 hp more than mine at the pto. I have only 16 at the pto which is less than the 18 that they recomend. I called woodmaxx today and they said that the 6600 would work fine on my tractor. once again thanks!

Would like to see a picture of your top link bracket if its not a problem.

Thanks

I will take a picture of my bracket tomorrow for you. In the mean time, here is a sheet that shows Kubota's heavy duty top link brackets. Mine is the middle one on the top row where the P/N is hand written below it. The one for your tractor is the right one on the top row. You can see it's a little different than mine. You'd probably have to show this to your dealer or call one to get the part number.
