Child Dies in Tractor Accident

A sad story out of Partridge, Kansas - a child died in a tractor accident yesterday, and 3 other children were injured.

I can't believe that the operator had kids riding in the loader bucket and had one on his lap. It never ceases to amaze me that people do things like this! I thought I'd post it to remind everyone that the loader bucket should never carry passengers, period.

It is very sad.

I know these adults were just trying to be nice and give the kids a fun time. Why can't people learn tractors and kids just do not mix? There are lots of other ways to have fun with your children.

Just like all the fools that post on u tube how there __yr old is operating machinery. I see nothing wrong with showing kids how to run things but putting them in harms way to show off is just plain stupid!

The worst we do is tow the trailer along with the kids and wife sitting inside (3' walls all the way around) ... never any passengers on the tractor ... that's just asking for it ... and same goes for the ATV ... its in the trailer or walking
