I was at a jobsite today and noticed a brand new (2014) Tahoe's wipers slowly going back and forth across the windshield. Thinking it was odd, I walked up to the truck-it was not running, no keys or occupants in it. A few minutes later, I was sitting in the company truck when the owner approached me asking for a jump. I explained to him what I saw and he said he saw it too, no idea why it was doing that, especially since the battery was dead.. Any ideas? Other than the rebirth of Christine....no idea from me. Tried to video but it was raining, couldn't get a good video.

Power control module. Absolutely everything is controlled by the computer these days, and it has brought about a ton of complaints. There have even been reports of unintended acceleration.... again.

I agree, it was probably computer related. Once the voltage drops to a certain level it goes crazy and strange things start to happen.

Wow. Aren't computers suppose to make things safer/more reliable?? I am a little old school in my mechanical knowledge, i.e. carbs and tbi is about the extent.

That isn't true, once the voltage drops below a pre-determined low (or high) threshold, the individual processors will shut down until voltage returns. Low voltage is typically below 9.6 volts and high voltage is above 19 volts. Keep in mind, many battery changers can float the electrical system at voltages grater than 17 volts. None of the ECUs go crazy because of low/high voltage events.

Sounds like the Tahoe had a faulty wipe control module.
