This weekend I'm at the beach, Ocean City, MD. As I was walking the boardwalk, I noticed a Bud Light delivery truck. I'm always intrigued by trucks, especially cabovers, so I took a walk over to it.
It was a Chevy T8500, and immediately noticed that was odd, as most Medium Duty cabovers I see stop at the 7500 series. It was the kind with the fifth wheel plate on it and the single axle beverage trailer, and when I got to it, it had a clutch! I rarely ever see clutches in light-medium duty cabovers. I looked it up when I got home, and cannot find any T8500 tractors or any with clutches. Anybody know any more about them? Am I right in assuming this is a very rare truck?
