I'll try it, but I'm pretty sure I'll do poorly. Chem lecture wasn't my favorite class.... chem lab, on the other hand...

I wasn't exactly a whiz at it either in High School. And while I passed in first year Chem class in College,. If I remember correctly it was not with "honors". BUT some of it must have stuck. This is a pretty basic quiz though.

Ha! I got 82%. Better than I thought I'd do. But I did guess on a few. I'll take the grade! :)

I went to college to be an English teacher. Chemistry was required. There was a lab and a lecture. I got an A in the lab. Nice, interesting professor. However, the lecture was just awful. B-O-R-I-N-G. I'm not proud to say I got an F in the chem lecture, but I did. So, no matter how well you do in chem lab, if you fail the lecture, you get an incomplete in the lab.

Anyhow, once I figured out that becoming an English teacher required more political skills than learning the material itself, I switched to technical school, got two electronics degrees and am happy as a clam. :D

98% I clicked too quickly on the "number of naturally occurring elements".

So send me back to High School, I will go willingly! ;-)

Did anyone else pass P-Chem??

Well...... I'm not as good as I thought. I missed three. 94% P-chem was OK, organic chemistry was a nightmare. Organic chemistry & mandatory ROTC almost got me kicked out of college. And Yes, when I went to college ROTC WAS mandatory - back when dirt was being made.

96% for me, but I'm around chemical engineers regularly. I must have absorbed a few things to reinforce high school Chem all those years ago.

Interesting. Organic Chem was the part I enjoyed the most.

I missed two; got 96%. I thought some of the questions were made so basic that they were misleading. One I missed I analyzed too much, but really knew the answer; it just wasn't what they wanted. I made my living as a Chemist up until 1980, should have gotten 100%. There was nothing in there that sharp high school chemistry student couldn't have known.

Was working on a perfect score but gave up after 10 questions and downloading so many ads that were chewing up my bandwidth. Reloading ads for each question is idiotic and unnecessary.

80% and I was not a good chemistry student, but I can remember just about anything and I can take tests well. Mainly I was just not well behaved student in the class, I got kicked out of this particular class quite often which bothered my grade in the class, but I could do well on most of the tests which at one point the teacher thought I was cheating.... He later read the next test to me with the principal observing and I aced it. The teacher really did not like me which in the end worked in my favor in the dispute between my parents, the principal, teacher and myself as to why I was often kicked out of class. In the end my dad knew I was a total turd but couldn't convince the principal of this fact so I paid for it at home. My job, actual income producing job at the time in high school, was firewood cutting and as payment to my dad for use of the farm and his saw I kept the house stocked, my punishment over this class was using a crosscut saw till I fessed up or convinced my dad the teacher was out to get me. It took about a week.

88%

I know there was a couple of them that I clicked on just too quick but indeed knew the answer. Like atomic symbol for potassuim......Without even thinking I just clicked in Po:mur:
