Funny thing happened to me on the way to the bank....

After mowing my yard and parking my 425, I noticed that the hydraulic cooler was sitting on top of the engine!?!

I opened the hood and saw that it had come loose from the four rubber hold downs and just slipped out.

After straightening out several bent cooling fins, /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, I removed the cooler bracket and retightened each of the hold down bolts with the cooler in place. You have to remove the fan assembly to pop out the bracket to get at the bolt heads.

All in all, it was about 20 minutes worth of work, but I could have saved some bent fins if I had noticed that it was coming loose.

The picture shows the hold downs, (thanks MR for the pic)

I will check it every time I use the tractor now...

PJ,
You should have bought a 180, then you wouldn't have to worry about those fancy dancy cooling thing-a-ma-jingies. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Just kiddin'... Glad to hear you didn't bounce it around enough to spring a leak. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
