You want really to get confused go to Stoody's site and read how dey build some of der hard rod.
Dey make de same nomenclature of rod in some cases you can run O/A, TIG or stick, and dey all different in how dey mix in de weld pool.
Good thing is dey also include instructions on how to smear it on even a dumb old Cajun can work from.
Course, I'm still ponderin if Mr Lincoln came up wid Fleetweld for de name of is rods back over 100 years ago if he was knowin welding on hulls would be his biggest customer for years.
