You know, I used to think the dangerous saws were those high priced ones with the long bar and lots of HP.

More and more I am coming to realize that my little $100, 16" homelight my be just as dangerous, or even more dangerous than the bigger saws. If for no other reason than I may subconsiously think it is less dangerous.

Thanks to all for posting your experiences and for helping me become a safer, or at least more aware, chain saw user!

Thats like saying a 22 rifle is not as lethal as a .357,they both are dangerous and deadly.

If its a chainsaw gas or electric large or small it can rip you to pieces.
