Can anyone tell me if there is a trick to changing the PTO shaft in a Ford TW 20? The 1000 shaft slips right in no problem. But the 540 shaft will not do that. I have to twist and turn that thing forever and finally it will go in. I have no problem removing it but this blond farm chick is having a heck of a time with that 540 shaft. There are no burrs or abnormal wear on the shaft. It is not bent..... just a pain to get it installed. Anyone have any helpful hints? Thanks so much.
