changing clutch on 4430...

Quad-Range. we are wondering since we will have the tractor split, What else should we inspect why we are in there. I would like to replace any o-ring that we have access to. I plan on changing the rear main seal why we are in the area, as an inframe overhaul will be taking place next summer. We have found a lot of deteriorated o-rings every where we have looked/had leaks. Thank you, Have a Great day. Snownman...:thumbsup:

I would suggest renewing the seals in the operating pistons. This operates different from a regular dry clutch as the pistons apply pressure to the clutch disks(both traction & pto.

In addition to the operating pistons as TxJim suggests, I would recommend disassembly and inspection/resealing of the hi-lo assembly.
