Chain Link fencing for a Screener??

I was wondering if anyone had tried using a section of chain link fencing for a soil screener. I'm assuming it would have to be tensioned to work and you would be limited to the size of the mesh. was even thinking of using two pieces offset to reduce the hole size further. Any thought?
