Dealer Century, the word my dealer gave me

Since my dealer sells Century and Zetor he will eventually not sell Branson once all the Century names are gone. He will continue servicing and carrying parts for the Century but will carry TYM, which will be Zetor's compact utility. He said there were a lot of Centurys left and as long as he could get them he would sell them till they were gone, he said he had sold 20 something this year already and hes a small business, the tractors just sell really well. He could carry Branson as well but the C-50 and C-50HL belong to Zetor and would not be on the tractors . Seems like he could stock the loaders and put them on Branson tractors but I realy don't know how all that works. He just said when the Century's are all gone he will probably be selling the TYM. Fortunately Branson will cover all the warranty issues and be around for parts in case he were to go out of business, hopefully I won't need any parts for a very long time.

The company, Kukje, that builds the tractors for Century(Zetor) and Branson, bought Branson Ditribution, and are distributing there tractors thru their own company. Direct distribution instead of a relabled tractor thru a buyer and reseller. The Kukje tractor has been a very reliable tractor and the parent company will mantain parts support and warranty.

TYM will not be Zetors compact line.... Zetor now distributes themselves, and AmJawa will distribute the TYM line..... They will be badged TYM.

The C-50 loaders from Century will be available from AmJawa if I remember correctly and can be put on Branson tractors.

Yes your right, American Jawa USED to ditribute Zetor and Century(Kukje) Now, Zetor is doing there own ditribution
Zetor North America, and American Jawa is becoming
TYM-America, and over time TYM will own that distribution, and therefore own their own distribution in the US, they (TYM)already own their own in the west. If you look at these emerging tractor companies this is the route they have all taken building up population then assuming direct distribution.

How good are the good deals ?
I know SC would be a haul for me, but if the price is right I'd go down there and haul it back to Mass.

Not sure how good "the deals" are, I don't think he is cutting prices, he just sells a lot of tractors . I am sure he would give you the best price he could, whether that would be a lot less than they are where you live I don't know. I would be glad to ask him for you or you could call him.

So whats the best bet for a Zetor dealer to replace its Century line with for a compact line? I ruled out a Zetor dealer when I read the Century issue.

I am not sure I understand the question, but alot of the Zetor dealers are becoming TYM dealers, as they already had a relationship with American Jawa (now TYM-America). And actually the Century would be a great buy, any Century sold will have full factory support by the selling dealer through Branson, owned by Kukje manufacturer of the Branson/Century tractor, and also a lot of Century dealers are signing Branson franchises.
