Century 2035 shift lever jumping out of forward

Hey guys,

Any of you experienced your shift lever jumping from forward to neutral when clutch is released. Reverse works perfectly. Getting ready to remove the linkage covers and start digging for the problem. Any ideas?

Update: Pulled the inspection cover from the top of the gearbox. Noticed that the shuttle shift fork on the forward shift side is worn producing slack and not allowing full travel into gear. The tractor is a 1990 ish model that I purchased second hand with 200 hrs. Looks like the previous owner was not clutching while putting it into forward. I have separated the tractor and pulled the shaft and shift fork. The part is available and am waiting on delivery. While I have it down, I will replace the engine clutch plate and throwout bearing. Hope this helps someone in the future
