Tractor
Yanmar sc2400 TLD, 1989 Ford 2120 with loader
My CCY 2400 is approaching 10 years old.

It's been a **** good tractor.

BUT.....can I still get parts?

Wondering if i should consider unloading it.

I need a new bucket pin. The dump pin.

The bracket cracked somehow. It's reparable, and I currently have it welded, but I was looking for a replacement on parts tree, and it seem everything for that tractor is unavailable. I'm not worried about the pin. Seems a standard item. But it has me wondering if cannot locate simple items, what if other repairs pop up?

It really pissed me off when cub and Yanmar split after a few years, and left a bad taste in my mouth for both brands.

I do not see why you would not be able to gets parts, Just call your dealer.
I got parts for my Cub / Yanmar 2450 front mount snowblower attachment with no problems.

Been there done that. The only Yanmar "dealer" seems more interested in selling 4 wheelers. I went in there a few years ago just to see if they could get me filters. Guy had no clue. Didn't even call me back. Didn't have a mechanic to work on tractors, didn't have any idea which tractor I was talking about.
I wouldn't pull in their parking lot to make a phone call. It's a shame because they have a good location, and good size garage. It was a former car dealership.

When I purchased this tractor there were 4 dealers within about one hour of me that sold and serviced CCY tractors, which ended after the break up.

Thank you, I will reach out and see what they say.

I should mention Yanmar has also contacted me seeking to help me locate knowledgeable dealers. Hoping it bears fruit.

I think that should tell you something about the brand and them wanting to keep you as a happy customer.

I hope so. I really have nothing bad to say about the tractor. It has outperformed it's intent, IMO. It works hard for its size. I'm about to crack 1,000 hrs with no significant issue. Not a lot in the big picture, but its gets used to its ability......often. We really need a smaller tractor to maneuver in tight places where we live.

I had 1200 or 1400 hours on a JD 770 ( green Yanmar ) without any major issues before I sold it to buy a YT347. The lack of issues on my 770 is the biggest reason I bought a YT347. The YT347 has been a great machine so far too.
