Shame on me. I should have removed all my attachment pins and greased them when I got my L5740 because now I cant get my box blade off! The bushings in the lower link arms have galled to the pins. So the pins wont come out. I tried whacking the pin with a dead blow hammer for a while but I don't want to destroy the mounting arms on the box blade. So I stopped. Any advice on getting it apart without cutting the pins?

Good idea. I didn't have a torch handy last night and it was getting dark. I'll give it a try tonight.

^ +1. Try the heat wrench.

I ended up cutting the hitch pins out with a sawzall. The torch would have burned up the surrounding paint and I didn't want that. Took me 10 minutes and two metal blades. Easy peasy.
