Case IH MAXXUM 140 will not backup

My Maxxum 140 Pro will not backup when I Shift the shuttle to R (reverse), it goes forward . It did this a few weeks ago, but it worked after setting over night. I let it set over night , but that did not work this time. Still will not backup, does anyone have solution. Thank Gary .
