Hi , this is my first post on this site , I just joined . We have a Case I-H DX35 hydro tractor with a loader. The problem is the rear 3 point arms have very little lifting power. You have to rev the tractor up to get the arms to lift the weight of a person standing on the arms. The power steering ,hydro and the front loader all work normal. The fluid is full and the filters and fluid were changed about a year ago. We have removed the seat, fenders , fuel tank and remove the top cover to check the rear cylinder to see if the cylinder might be leaking. If we put shop air (150 psi) into the cylinder inlet oil port, the cylinder will extend , we don't see any air or oil leaking by the cylinder seal . We did remove the valve and took it apart to see if any of the spool valves were stuck or a spring might be broken , we did not see any thing that looked wrong or out of place so we cleaned it and put it back together . We put the top cover back on the tractor and tried the 3 point , it still has very little lifting power. I did remove one of the plugs on the side of the valve and took a pressure reading , it only had 45 psi at idle and about 150 at high rpm, this seems too low. I don't have a repair manual and I would like to know what ports to tap into for the 3 point and what kind of pressure reading I should see. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
