I have a case 255 4wd. The tie rod pulled out of the left end, and there are not enough threads left to engage. Looking for a replacement, my dealer says that it is obsolete, no longer manufactured and that there are no sources for it in his aftermarket suppliers.
Repair by welding seems to be out of the question, as does some sort of sleeve.
I've seen some used ones around, but I am not sure I like the idea of used wear parts.
Anybody have some ideas about interchanges (some say tractor is a Mitsubishi MTE2000D)?
