Case IH 235 Hydro drive issues

Hi all, new to this forum, but hoping someone can help or at least me point me in the right direction. I have a little 18hp Case IH 235 and the hydro transmission is terrible. I have done a full oil and filter change, and it still has no 'get up and go'. I struggle to the most basic of tasks with it, and constantly have to gently 'ride' the hydro shift to get it to move. Any suggestions on what I can do or what I should check?

Welcome, I have a 234 it’s the same tractor, first of all did you try running it in both speed ranges ? Does the hydro pump make a lot of noise (whining) when you increase speed control lever? There’s a lot of different things that can be wrong from the clutch slipping to a speed control linkage roll pin broken. Has this condition existed for a while or did it happen all at once? I’ve never encountered the problem you’re having so a little more info is needed.
