Case IH 1130 mfd front axle problems

I have a case IH 1130 and the snap ring on both front axles just started popping off allowing the axles to come out. Has any one had this happen and what did you find that caused it and how did you fix it? Thanks in advance for any help on this problem, Ron

Follow up on my axle problem, i asked the mechanic at the local cab cadet dealer what would cause this and he said to replace both axle bearings on both sides. I did it and so far no problems. case IH 1130 is the same as cub cadet 7235. by the way cub cadet parts are cheaper than case IH.
