Case Farmall 105u

I've been tractor shopping since sometime around November of last year. I have decided on a new Kioti 7320 (73 hp, and weighs in around 9500 lbs with loader and filled tires). I have ordered one, it showed up, and they will be adding the odds and ends that I wanted on it on Monday,(3rd function, Bluetooth stereo, extra rear remote, filling tires, etc) to be delivered on Wednesday. I am fast approaching the point of no return.
I was browsing today and came across a used 2012 Case Farmall with 75 hours on it, stored indoors for an asking price of about 5k less than the Kioti. It's also used and a private party sale, so there is potential for an even better deal after some haggling. The 105u seems to be quite a bit more tractor coming in at least 2k lbs heavier and 32 hp more. I do have plans of pulling a plow and other ground engagement implements. Some implements that could be available to borrow from neighbors would likely be a bit large for the Kioti.

Does anyone have experience with one or both of these tractors? Any thoughts, comments?

The 105U is a much heavier duty farm tractor and will be much better for draft situations than the Kioti.

That was my thought too. It is also a more readily recognized brand than the Kioti, although that is quickly changing. One thing that the Kioti has going for it is that its FEL is rated about 2200 lbs higher than the loader on the Case. The Case wins the 3 point lift by about 1800 lbs.

Im not 100% sure, but I think the Case listing I found on Craigslist is either someone trying to collect phone numbers and email addresses or it was a listing from a shady tractor dealer trying to get some drive by business. The listing did not have a phone number, but it gave an intersection and town for the address. I ran the intersection and town through google and came up with J & D equipment and a phone number. I called the phone number that google spit out and got what sounded like a cell phone with bad reception. I identified myself and asked about the tractor listing, but the person on the other end couldn't hear me and we were cut off. I called back and it went to voicemail, I left a message and after a couple hours of not hearing back I tried again. Got through with a good connection that time, and asked about the listing. He said that he didn't post the listing, then went on to say that he dissolved J & D equipment many years ago. Hmm, strange. His current tractor dealership is the only thing at that intersection, just under a different name. Even more strange is he asked me "Do you know who this is"? I said I didn't think so. He said, "This is Darryl with such-and-such tractor"; the guy who owns the company that I bought my first tractor through. He either recognized my voice (many people seem to) or he had my number in his phone. I spoke with him several months ago when I first started the search for an upgrade and he didn't want to give me a fair deal on trade in on the tractor I bought from him only a year ago and didn't seem very interested in earning my business. I wrote him off and didn't look back.
I found that first tractor on a craigslist posting and I've seen many of his other listings on there, so I wonder if he didn't just post a vague listing at a screaming good ...almost too good, but just not quite... of a deal without contact info in hopes that people would drive over to find it. I dunno... However, if your'e in the Bozeman area, watch out for this guy!
