Hi, new to dozers but have a good opportunity to buy one for my land in Idaho.

its a 78 or 79 Case D350, 6 way blade and winch on the back in great shape, undercarriage, engine track sprockets all well maintained starts idles great, no leaks, hoses all looks good. i know the guy that owns it and he takes excellent care of everything he owns.

couple questions...does anyone guess what this might weigh...i could find info on the loader style at around 9500...

we think its some were around 8K to 8500

and do you think 15500 is a fair price.

any advice is greatly appreciated /

15 thousand?? For that I will sell you a Case 450 with 250 hours on a NEW BERCO U/C (undercarriage) that starts/runs perfect! naaaa, you would be over paying for the 450 too...

A nice in very good condition "Diesel" 350 here, would sell for about 8K, maybe 9K if it had a NEW/er U/C... Gas powered dozers sell for less!

A 350 is a light/small dozer, make sure it will do what you want BEFORE buying it. It's NOT going to push out tree's of any size or do jobs like that...

Prices are all over the place, and they seem to be climbing quickly regardless of how old stuff is.

What are you wanting to use it for? A dozer that small is going to be very limited in what it can do. Mostly it's a finish dozer that will smooth out a pile of dirt. It's good for building a pad, or maybe maintaining an established road. It's not a good choice for digging or clearing land.

My plans are pad work, maintaining road on the property, cutting in some new roads pushing out small trees.
I have 24 acres with smaller pine trees
Looking around here in the Oregon area prices seem interesting if I can even find something to buy
And yes I think it's also a little high
