Our otherwise sound Case 970 w/Powershift ( "early" Ser # 8690769) 401 ci engine failed. Found a rebuilt never installed 451DB engine on local CL. The 451DB was used in the 1070's as I understand it. Would the 451DB bolt in my 970?? Main concern is crank/flywheel/bell housing compatibility and frame/mounting issues. Can deal with relatively minor modifications that might be needed. Any help/advice much appreciated.
