Does anybody know how to adjust the PTO Clutch on a Case 831 Comfort King Tractor? There
is NO access plate on the rear right side of the tractor to gain access to the Clutch Pin.
I can adjust it if I take the entire PTO Clutch assembly off the back end of the tractor but
I don't have a procedure in adjusting the proper downward force on the clutch collar. I can
push down with my hands and it will snap in place but I don't know how much "force" is being
used. The book that I've read calls for 40 to 60 lbs but that is measured at the PTO clutch
handle on the left side of the tractor next to the seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
