Case 446 not starting

Case 446 not starting. The wire from the Ammeter is loose but it is so short I can't get to it from front of dash. I am having problem removing the hydrolic oil container in order to reach ammeter. Is it bolted to frame or should it come out when battery andf other appropiate items remove from behind the motor?
I also would like a wiring diagram for the 446.
