Repacking my first hydraulic ram. Leaking at gland at ram/ram wiper. As an aside, I thought I ordered the right parts however what I got is not what I needed. I got just the o-ring no wiper/seal. Maybe These can be ordered based on gland/rod dimensions/diameter??

Anyway, extracting w some help. I did remove the lines but it was just a little bit stuck and I couldn稚 quite pull it out by hand. Popped easily

Ram back on to break nut free.

I needed the wiper seal a few weeks ago and took cylinder cap to local hydraulic shop and they matched it up and he even popped it into the groove for me without damaging it.

Rain, had a few minutes so i popped all new seals, rings, wipers into the hydraulic ram. First one, didn’t go bad. Will see how it does under pressure!

With hydraulics, keep everything clean and don't scratch nothin'.
Did you find missing parts locally?

Took the suggestion and went to a local shop. They measured and were able to select what I needed

Today I reinstalled the rebuild case hydraulic cylinder ( works great but now I found one on the bucket to do!) and investigated some excess rear sway in the dodge. Found one raised bracket that ties the rear-end to a link broken. Thought about welding but wrote to BDS for a replacement

Put some tiger teeth on my bucket a couple of years ago. Huge difference in digging stumps.

I’m trying to match the 3 that are still present. Standard chisel tooth. The front of the drott has some worn bolted teeth. They are solid and I may shape them as a shank and add teeth/pin
