I agree, use the turn signals. Nobody slows down unless there's they see someone on the other side of the highway parked. Then the side your on slows down for some reason.:laughing:

In Chicago they call that a Gapers Block. :laughing:

I'm on your side. If you can't drive the speed limit ( or just plain won't drive the speed limit ) get out of the way of others just for the sake of common courtesy.

I commute via the interstate for about 35 miles of my trip home from work.

Almost EVERYDAY there is someone doing ~50 or so. (speed limit 65) and when you are travelling with the flow at ~70, your on them before ya know it. Which causes several other drivers to make sudden lane changes:confused2: And this is usually in the MIDDLE lane of 3 lanes:confused2:

I just dont get it. If you are scared to drive on the freeway...DONT. Drivers that want to go 45-50 in PERFECT weather and road conditions are a MUCH greater danger IMO than someone who wants to run 10 over.

One of the ones I saw yesterday poking along at 46mph (big digital display makes it nice to see how fast they were going) at least had the courtesy to be in the far right lane with flashers on:thumbsup:

Yes.

The maximum of course varies by state, in MD it is apparently +30. It feels strange when I get home to OR, and it is merely +7.
