I was on my 6420 tonight and when I put it in forward it seemed to not show me a speed on the gauge or display. This is also on my 6715. I appreciate your help.

Edward... Is it possible that the last drag race caused the computer to "glitch"!?!? :D We all know how much you like to pull the "front wheels up" going from one end of the field to the other!

Guessing that you've already checked the fuses.. And the remaining LED functions and gauge readouts - rpm's, oil pressure, temp, etc. are working as normal?

Most likely the ground speed sensor is not working. It is located to the right side of the hydraulic pump behind the cab. #1 or 2 in diagram depending on which transmission you have.

Yup. Only the speedometer. It seemed that the 6420s speedometer worked today. and for JD110. I have no idea to read that. I'll just leave the 6715 as it is.

There ya go, Edward! Right side of transmission housing... look for a dangling wire, broken wire, broken or bent sensor - be my bet!

(You been shredding up sweet corn stalks - or - something tall and likely to get up into alongside the transmission, etc. on your bigger machines??)

My 6715 gets a good wacking of wasted crops but thats about it. Maybe some high weeds.
