Can't locate used TN95DA with cab and loader

Over the past several months I've been trying to find a used TN95DA (or CIH JX1095C equivalent) with cab and loader. I've searched multiple Internet sites and visited several dealers in my area (Southwestern PA). This particular combination of tractor seems very rare, and I am wondering why this should be. The dealers have advised that even a new tractor as I have specified would be difficult to find.

I am looking to buy a low profile tractor with a cab that would be good for hay production on the steep hills of my farm. This model seemed like a good match for my needs. I would be interested in hearing from those who have experience with either the CIH or New Holland version of this model. Thanks in advance.

The TN95A line is a fairly new model that has only been on the market for 1-2 years. So finding this tractor used is going to be very difficult.

Since this tractor is so new why are you looking used? You will pay almost as much for a used TN95DA as you would for a brand new one. And if you finance you will get much better financing with a new unit.

For your hay needs and requirements I would look at the TL-A (now the T5000). It is wider then the TN line, slightly bigger and heavier and is a low tractor also. It would be a good setup for haying on hills and this model has been in New Hollands lineup for a long time. It started out as the 35 series before it became the TL then TL-A and now T5000. All are basically the same exact tractor and cab and you can find good 35 series tractors rather affordably compared to a new T4000 or T5000

The TS line is a taller tractor and the OP was looking for a low profile tractor. But the TS is a great tractor for haying

I would also expect that not that many TN95DA have been sold since for many people the 65 and 75 have plenty of hp. I would think you would only need the extra hp over the 75 if you were using it for some high hp pto needs.

I just purchased a TN95A ROPS. The member is correct in that the TN95 is a relatively new tractor line. Since they are doing away with that line this year and going to the T4000 series, I would do as I did. Get on the NH site and start calling every NH dealer within a days driving distance to look for one. That unit with a cab (or any other 95) is not going to be the easiest tractor to sell with fuel prices, the economy and a change in the line for 2008. The deals they are offering now are great and will probably only get better. For what it is worth those are my thoughts.
