I have a CT 230 with 7TB backhoe. Wondering if I have a hydrolic issue as I cannot lift the rear tires off the ground for leveling the backhoe. The book says to set the FEL on the ground and lift the front tire slightly and then set the stabilizers of the backhoe out to stabalize the rear of the tractor and to level. I have fluid in my rear tires, about 250 lbs of window washer fluid per side. My brother who has an orange machine, yea you guessed, it the Kubota flavor. says my machine has weak hydrolics as he can lift the rear of his tractor off the ground to stabalize. My dealer who sold me the machine says the rear shouldnt be lifted off the ground and that I should set the stablizers of the hoe first then lower the bucket on the FEL. Tried that and still cannot lift the rear of the tractor off the tires. When working the hoe the stabalizer tend to need "pumped out" from time to time as they slowly go down. Is this normal or do I have an issue I need to be concerned about. I can tell you that my brothers hoe has its own hydralic pump and my machine is running hydrolics from the machine itself and does not have its own pump on the hoe. Anyone else having this issue with the 30 HP Bobcat and 7TB hoe? Thanks, <>< Dusty

As I do not have a Bobcat Tractor i can not say for sure how your Tractor should operate. But saying that I have a B3200 TLB that will lift the tractor completely off the ground. I also have operated quite a few different TLB's and they would do the same. I believe something is not correct with the hydraulics on your tractor, call your dealer and ask them to come over and inspect tractor. Good Luck.

Yeah, I'd say you have an problem somewhere. I have a CK25 Kioti twin with a Rhino 75 backhoe and loaded R4s. No problem at all lifting the back wheels off the ground with either the outriggers or the backhoe boom. Your tractor has more than enough hydraulics. Are you hitting the tractor relief or the backhoe's? Which one could give you place to start looking.

But, I do agree that you shouldn't operate the backhoe with the wheels off the ground. Just too much force on the outriggers and tractor frame. Let the wheels help spread the forces. My backhoe manual says to set the outriggers just so the load on the wheels begins to leviate. That's what I do and it works for me. Outriggers hold as long as the earth under them holds. If you don't have them, get yourself some bigfoot pads or make your own. They really make a difference.

Doesn't sound like there is a problem to me....Lift the bucket off the ground then lower your outriggers.
If it doesn't lift then, you may have a problem.
Your out riggers were not designed to lift 5,000lbs.
When you have the front bucket on the ground and you try to lift the rear of the tractor you are not lifting the rear end you are trying to lift the entire tractor.
With the bucket off the ground you will be able to pivot on the front tires.
