Kubota L3800
My father bought a MF 243, unfortunately just a few short years before he became too sick to use it. It belongs to my brother now and the only thing he uses it for is mowing and dragging off the occasional fallen tree. It has a Massey loader and came with two remotes that have never been used and undoubtedly will never be used as long as they stay where they are.

Fast forward to last week when I traded my Kubota L2350 for a new L3800 w/ loader. I was contemplating installing (or having installed) a remote so I could mount a grapple, but this morning it occurred to me that I might be able to simply unbolt the remotes from the Massey and find a spot for them on the Kubota.

I can't provide pix because the MF 243 is 100 miles away. Other than physical fit issues, is there any reason this couldn't work?

TIA for any advice.

If the flow rate is about the same, and they are both open center valves, they should work.

I mounted a remote valve to the side of the FEL valve to run a grapple and it was pretty straight forward to do. My L3400 FEL valve is pretty much the same as the one on your L3800. One more thing, the remote valve needs to have a power beyond port to run the 3 point hitch so check to see if the valve on the MF has that. Take some pictures of the MF valve and post your findings here if you need to.
