Found this one sneaking around by the pond. You don't have to go far to find one in these parts.
A poisonous, invasive species that has overrun parts of Australia. This eating machine has no natural predators and reproduces in great numbers, see ecology....below
These were imported in an attempt to control Cane beetles (insects that feed on or otherwise damage sugar cane plants). They did very little to control those pests as the bugs simply crawled a little higher up the can stalk to avoid the toad.

The threaded rod is 3/8" and the pencil is shown to add scale. You could probably make a small wallet out of this one, if you were so inclined.

Glad we don't have them in our neck of the woods (but they are around further north), did you just boot him?

There is 2" of hardened steel, ground to a needle sharp point, that you can't see as it
is buried in the ground underneath and through our amphibian counterpart.
When he charged me, I had no choice but to defend myself.
